I am co-Head of the Department for Ethics Education within the Ministry for Education, Sport, Youth, Research, and Innovation. I am a pedagogist by profession, and my approaches and expertise are rooted in psychology, philosophy for children, connected Learning, and the study of bioethics. In addition to my role as a visiting lecturer (prospective teachers at Master's Level), examiner and mentor for teachers-in-training and newly qualified teachers, I am responsible for developing the ethics curriculum, syllabi, and assessment. Currently, I am working on the publication of teacher and student resources for different age groups distributed nationally.

My current area of research focuses on gamification in education, and I regularly participate in Erasmus+ programs, particularly those dealing with human rights, digital ethics, and digital well-being.

I am also highly active in the arts, being a prolific theatre practitioner, musical theatre performer, and music producer, having played lead roles of major milestone musical productions in Malta.
