Digital Credentials and the Pursuit of Self-Sovereignty Webinar

3CL News, Webinar
Blockchain Webinar #2

The guest expert for our second webinar co-hosted with the Commonwealth of Learning (COL) is Dr Natalie Smolenski from Hyland Credentials. The session takes place on Tuesday, 7th July at 16:00 CET.

Registration for the webinar is free and available here.

The webinar will focus on deliberating over the use of digital credentials by answering the question:

Can credentials be safely digitised for greater portability and individual ownership?

During this webinar, you will learn about the increasing interest of self-sovereignty and how blockchain technology can:

  • Safeguard ownership over hard-earned credentials
  • Secure transferability of certificates and degrees
  • Protect your intellectual footprint

Additionally, this webinar contributes to research being conducted by our Horizon 2020 DEL4ALL project which aims to transform European research and innovation initiatives. If you’d like to join the community and contribute to research on how emerging technologies may transform the future of education for the public good, contact us on info@3cl.org.
