Young People & Information – A Manifesto
The second edition of the Manifesto examines young people’s complex relationship with online information.
It provides an overview of the state of information production, consumption and sharing. It identifies issues that need to be addressed by those in a position to make positive changes. It proposes ideas and solutions to facilitate a culture of media and information literacies, critical thinking and renewed trust in the Internet.
It encourages young people to take an activist approach, as responsible digital citizens, to embrace the skills needed to navigate the digital age and to apply pressure on those responsible for addressing the issues listed in this publication.
